Arabica

Renew Concept | International

The new Arabica international branch concept draws its essence from the serene and poetic language of the desert. The spatial design translates natural formations — waves, layers, and dunes — into a tactile and atmospheric interior experience.

Conceptual Approach

Inspired by the organic flow of desert landscapes, the design focuses on fluid forms, soft transitions, and layered compositions. The main idea was to reinterpret the movement of sand dunes and the play of light over them through architectural gestures that merge the ceiling, walls, and furniture into a continuous visual rhythm.

Material and Form Language

Surfaces embody natural sand tones, complemented by sculptural wall reliefs that evoke the movement of wind-shaped dunes. Layered rock formations inspired the furniture detailing, most notably seen in the custom-designed tables and partitions. The combination of textured plaster, light woods, and deep stone tones creates a calm yet expressive spatial identity.

Lighting Design

Point lighting elements, resembling stars over the desert at night, punctuate the ceiling’s curved surfaces. These light accents not only emphasize the form but also bring an intimate and atmospheric quality to the overall composition, balancing natural warmth with refined elegance.

Spatial Experience

The layout prioritizes fluid circulation and visual continuity. The bar counter — as the focal point — integrates seamlessly with the organic ceiling waves, anchoring the space both functionally and conceptually. Seating zones transition from communal to private through subtle level differences and material contrasts, inviting guests to linger in a setting that feels both grounded and ethereal.

Overall Impression

Arabica’s Desert Flow Concept is a refined narrative of motion and stillness — a contemporary interpretation of nature’s geometry, translated into architecture. It establishes a timeless and sensorial identity for the brand’s global presence.
