Design Approach
The interior design for TECHÁ reflects the brand’s philosophy of purity, balance, and natural well-being. The space has been envisioned as a calm retreat that celebrates the ritual of tea through refined materiality, soft color transitions, and a serene spatial rhythm. Every design element aims to translate the brand’s essence — natural, minimal, and authentic — into a tactile, spatial experience.
Material and Color Palette
A soothing harmony of warm and cool tones defines the atmosphere. The flooring features light natural stone textures to evoke spaciousness, while the walls combine muted beige–gray hues with deep burgundy accents, creating a sophisticated contrast. Light wood panels and softly curved ceiling forms introduce rhythm and continuity, inspired by the organic flow of nature and the fluidity of tea itself.
Spatial OrganizationThe interior is composed of two main zones:
Service & Retail Area: The main counter and shelving system are designed to highlight the tea products with precision lighting and balanced symmetry. Textured vertical surfaces and illuminated niches enhance the visual depth while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic language.
Seating Area: Natural dried plants act as both a decorative and atmospheric divider, bringing nature indoors. Soft-toned furniture and marble tabletops create a delicate balance between comfort and sophistication, inviting guests to slow down and experience the calm essence of the brand.
Lighting & AtmosphereAdjustable ceiling spotlights and sculptural glass pendants create a gentle play of light, accentuating textures and guiding visual focus. Linear lights embedded in the vertical partitions introduce a contemporary rhythm that complements TECHÁ’s modern yet grounded identity.
Brand Reflection
TECHÁ’s values — natural healing, mindfulness, and refined simplicity — are embodied in the material selection, color palette, and overall spatial composition. The result is an environment that not only showcases herbal tea as a product but celebrates it as a lifestyle — a fusion of design, nature, and tranquility.
